Niche Profit Classroom is an internet and affiliate marketing program based on strategies to find and develop online businesses around profitable niches.

Think of an idealized business transaction:

Sue persuades Jill to buy her product.
Or alternately, Bob finds David because he wants to buy what David has. And because David advertised.

In the real world, there’s a bit of both, but what if you could have a business where finding hot prospects was the easy part?

Adam Short and Alen Sultanic of Niche Profit Classroom or NPC (of which I am an affiliate) has developed a system to do just that. And a great deal more.

Take a free sample idea. Regarding information products in particular. There’s a great, “little-known” site that shows the most popular information products out there. Products people are searching for. The site is even free to search! Its called Amazon.com. Yep. Sell what people are buying.

But perhaps the hallmark NPC contribution is a system for finding profitable keywords for online marketing. Some words are just too popular among online marketers for the average new guy to rank within a mile of where they will be seen in search engines. Other keywords (especially longtail ones) are so obscure it takes a whole lot of work to get them recognized, and the market may be slim.

In between these extremes are some keywords that a relatively high number of people are looking for and that are addressed by a relatively small number of competing websites. Short and Sultanic find the “sweet spot” is 1000 or more searches per month with 10,000 or fewer sites addressing the keyword.

These “sweet spot” keywords can be used to develop websites, articles, an ebook internet marketing strategy, and a profitable niche.

But that is only a taste. Niche Profit Classroom has hundreds of videos training internet marketers from A to Z in all aspects of internet marketing, teleseminars, forum chats, templates, free stuff, regular new niche ideas, what-not-to-do training, you name it. For a very reasonable monthly subscription fee.

All of which means the program is not for the under-committed or faint of heart. Adam warns that most people in the program don’t follow through to the point of earning profit. But if done right, the payoff can be lasting.

For online marketing, social media can suck up time in non-business oriented digressions. But they can be used to develop relationships and a loyal clientele base. Search engines do not value links to your site from social media sites, but if your links provide information valuable to your followers, you may gain customers.

Most people on social media sites are not targeted to your business, but over time if you press things relevant to your business, your followers will become those interested in your business–or in you. Viewers on social media sites generally do not welcome sales pitches, but you can attract people by giving valuable information–or sometimes humor, if used in a way that ties in with your business in some positive way.

Most social media sites are protected against commercial contributions (except paid advertisements), but they can be a relational stepping stone toward business. And some sites like Twitter are business-friendly. Social media topics may be largely irrelevant to your business, but social media sites are where the people are. For better or for worse, social media is the trend of the future.
